Stephen Rothwell is the co-founder of Inspired Technology. He has exceptional experience in business management and Computer Information Systems with a track record of success leading the business.
Stephen was always involved in his family business. As a child, he would spend time at the office with his dad, playing with circuit boards and solder wires. During the summer months while in college, Stephen would work in the office on sales and marketing projects as well as helping management define policies and practices to better help the business. During his senior year at Bryant University, Stephen split his time between managing the business and attending his college classes. In 2009, Stephen and his brother Brian decided to expand the family business. They created Inspired Technology with a focus on integration and educating new and existing customers on what services and technology they could offer.
Stephen graduated from Bryant University with a bachelor’s degree in business management and minored in both computer information systems and psychology. He is also a board member for Christopher's Haven.
Brian Rothwell is the co-founder of Inspired Technology and a proven leader in technology design and programming.
Like his brother Stephen, Brian was greatly involved in the family business, helping his dad in the office and spending time at the shop bench observing and learning. In his first role at Inspired Technology, Brian was as an assistant to the senior technicians and was eventually promoted to Lead Technician. In this role, Brian managed the design, building and programming of major projects, such as the VoIP telephone systems for the town of Stoughton.
Brian attended Providence College.
Bob Rothwell is a media relations and operations management veteran with more than 12 years of experience. Prior to joining his brothers in the family business in 2003, he worked in college athletics traveling with teams and handling all media liaison responsibilities.
In his first position as Service Manager, Bob was responsible for the scheduling of projects. He is now in charge of all daily operations at Inspired, which includes managing the project schedule and ensuring the company has the correct manpower, materials and equipment.
Bob graduated from Providence College in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Chief Technology Officer Michael Clery III joined the Inspired Technology team in 2018. His primary responsibility is to ensure that the best and most efficient products are being used for each project to operate dependably for clients. Clery is charged with elevating Inspired’s standing as an industry leader; introducing, educating and training the installation team on emerging technology innovations in order to perform the highest level of work on all projects.
Having grown up in a family that worked in the construction business, Michael has always taken an interest in construction projects. He worked as a supervisor for construction/excavation crews, and went on to receive his construction super license, CDL license and hoisting license. Also prior to his time at Inspired, he started Wildcard performance which did automotive performance and car audio in 1999. It then morphed into Wildcard Home Theater in 2002. He expanded the business to Wildcard West, the Colorado division of Wildcard Home Theater in 2017.
Michael attended the University of Mass Lowell for civil engineering, and while not working on projects on-site and at the office, he was able to build the largest Arctic Cat snowmobile race team on the East Coast.
John McCarthy is Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Inspired Technology. In his role as an executive leader, Mr. McCarthy oversees all branding, distribution channels and deployment of sales for the organization.
John is a progressive, energetic and knowledgeable executive with 20 years of strategic experience in general management, operations, sales and marketing in both the domestic and global markets. He is driven by his commitment to operational excellence, business performance and exceptional customer service, and has succeeded in private equity, franchise, private and publicly held environments. Prior to joining Inspired Technology, John was Vice President and General Manager for coatings wholesale distributor FinishMaster, Inc. He also served as Regional Vice President of SecurAmerica, Director of Global Markets for Canadian wholesale manufacturer WaterGroup Companies International, North American Director of Commercial and National Accounts for Culligan International, and North American Director of Sales and Marketing for Tyco Fire and Security.
John is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, Building Owners and Managers Association International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts.
